An Indian Summer

It's been another week of slogging away at my TaskMaster program. Outside it has been mostly exquisitely autumnal, and I was able to get out a couple of times before the sun went down! But mostly it was carrying on at all hours, depending upon when the muse deemed me worthy of assistance (or, at least, inspiration)!

Because I am building on ancient code, some of it going back ten years or more, every time I add an enhancement I have to go back and eek out latent bugs, sometimes dating way back. That's the trouble with having users who haven't bothered to send feedback. I just don't know about the bugs until I trip over them myself. They are, of course, my bugs, seeded at some time or other when I was in a rush, tired, or being just plain stupid. So mea culpa, as they say.

Anyway, must go now. I've had a cup of tea, the bugs are laughing, and there's a whole night ahead! Good (bug) hunting!
