Harrow

Awake early and up at 06:00. Out at 08:00 and did a bit on the vans. Oil levels etc. Then out for a run at 08:30. Nice morning. At 45 left feet approx. 100 m jogging paced out the Recreation Ground path at 1,350 m. More or less identical to Pymmes Park (1.4 kms). But Harrow has a couple of slight inclines. Anyway did four laps today. Text from Christine. At 11:00 went out to the laundrette nearby. Cost £ 4.70 as against the usual £ 3.20 in Stroud. Out again at 13:00 and wandered along Hindes Road and into town. Saw a J-reg red Vauxhall Rascal parking up at Tesco's and had a chat with the guy. The van was in good condition with 87,000 miles on the clock. But the bloke was not interested in selling. Had a roast-beef lunch. The shopping centre was busy. Too many people for my liking. Went into the internet café but Hotmail was not working properly. It was also too hot in there so I only stayed for five minutes. Checked out polo shirts in a couple of shops. Bought two Blue Harbour chinos 34" waist and 33" legs for £ 29.50 each from M&S. Also two Blue Harbour khaki shirts for £ 27 each. Charged all £ 113 to my S&F card which expires tomorrow. Called in for stocks at Tesco's. Very crowded there too. Tesco's closes at 16:00 on a Sunday and 22:00 the rest of the week. Back at the flat by 15:30. Did some ironing.
