Up early and carried on sorting out stuff in the flat. Will bung some of my surplus clothes to the car-boot sale. Text to and from Susan. Out for a run at 09:30. Up Chosen Hill. Went out in Jorge at 11:25 and around to Mum's. Picked up some stuff for the car-boot and checked emails etc. Had some grub with Mum and Den. Then went up to Jim's. Another multimeter and a Bosch electric screwdriver had arrived from eBay. Jim was able to sell his Honda bike yesterday for £ 150 and another £ 25 for the Puch Maxi. Noticed that he didn't offer me any even though I had set up the deal! Sorted out some more gear and loaded up Jorge. Back at the flat by 17:35. Wandered along to Budgens for some stocks later.

Here is Jorge four months later. Broken into in broad daylight and all my tools and test equipment stolen. That's 25 years worth of accumulated gear. Stuff that survived Saudi Arabia has now gone to car-boot sales, no doubt. Might as well have saved myself shipping it all back by dumping it in the desert! Who would think that this sort of thing could happen deep in the woods of Gloucestershire? But, unfortunately, this is how things are in modern Britain!
